We found this 1962 Ducati Bronco for $700 in Oakland California.
The ad reads:
“125cc 4 stroke ducati single. It is all there & runs well. This is a nice bike for a pretty easy restoration project. Levers, tank, brakes are all there & original
but will need some minor work to be road ready. These vintage bikes are all projects to some degree so please keep that in mind.No title, bill of sale only.”
The bike looks all there f or sure. It’s amazing to see how popular early small-bore bikes are getting lately. If one does a lot of riding in the city, “zippy” beats “big” most of the time. Wouldn’t this make a sweet little cafe project? Does anyone have any experience with these? Those frame tubes look very delicate. The open-ness of the engine bay begs for a nice velocity stack coming out of that carb.
No Title seems to be a problem with many small-bores. They get ridden for a few years, end up in a shed and the paperwork just gets lost. ChasingMotorcycles would be interested in reputable firms that can handle these issues, or if readers know how to get this done for individual states, it might make for a nice set of references.
