This is an extremely rare Parilla racer with a 175 Hi-Cam motor, located in Brooklyn,New York. The link will take you to the eBay listing. It seems like a lot of Parillas are changing hands over the last couple of months —this one is a particularly original and exotic example of a rare brand.
The listing has an excellent description. The highlights:
- gears shift through
- tank has no dents. paint in great shape but has minimal wear and tear despite its age
- super clean,no rust ANYWHERE!!
- seat and muffler are NOT Parilla. i have no idea what they are
- included is the orig air pump
- 1,401 orig. miles!!!
Bike has a known history. It hasn’t been running and has been inside for 1961. If it’s going to be operated, you’ll probably have to go through it. This would be a tough call. Museum or get it on the road?
Owner will entertain all questions. There is obviously no title. There’s a day and a half left with zero bids (minimum bid is $8000). While I’m convinced that small-displacement bikes are going to be huge over the next few years,I think it might still be a little early…
