This 1977 Yamaha IT250 was purchased new by the seller’s father and shows just 428 miles. It comes from the first year of production and receives power from a 250cc 2-stroke single paired with a 5-speed gearbox, and also features a mono-shock rear swingarm. The seller has added approximately 40 miles since inheriting the bike in 2002 and recommends a mechanical service before it is ridden. This IT250 is now being offered with the owner’s book, a Clymer manual, and a clear Florida title in the seller’s name. Closeups of the blue plastic bodywork, graphics, and seat have been provided in the gallery below. Equipment includes a headlight and taillamp, as well as a rear fender-mounted storage bag. Aluminum rims are laced to front and rear drums, and the seller points out the original drive chain and sprockets. A rebuild of the mono rear shock is also recommended. The 100-mph speedometer is from Nippon Seiki and features Yamaha branding. The 5-digit odometer shows just 428 miles. The 250cc 2-stroke single is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. A video of the bike starting and running has been provided below.
