This 1976 Kawasaki KZ900 has been owned by the selling dealer for eight years and shows 26k miles. Power is from a 903cc DOHC inline-four which was reportedly rebuilt 2,000 miles ago and is paired with a 5-speed transmission. The work also included replacement of the chain, front sprocket, wheel bearings, fork and brake seals, rear shocks, OEM seat cover, and more. Modifications consist of a period Kerker exhaust system with a ceramic-coated header and a cross-drilled front brake rotor. This KZ900 is offered by the selling dealer with a clean Georgia title. The bike is reportedly finished in its original shade of Diamond Brown Metallic and wears factory-style striping and logos. The seat cover and signal lenses have been replaced with OEM items, and the exhaust header has been treated with a ceramic coating. Wire-spoke wheels wear Dunlop 19″ rubber up front and 18″ in the rear. The front end features new fork seals and wheel bearings as well as a cross-drilled 11.5″ brake rotor and and fresh pads. New shocks have been installed in the rear. Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, tachometer, and a 5-digit odometer showing 26k miles. Stock handlebars are fitted, and the control cables have been replaced. Photos of the switchgear can be seen in the gallery below. The air-cooled DOHC inline-four produced 82 horsepower in stock form and was reportedly rebuilt 2k miles ago using Kawasaki parts. A period Kerker exhaust system is fitted. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a 5-speed transmission. Recent drivetrain service included a new chain and front sprocket. Much of the maintenance has been performed by the owner, and service records are limited. A walk-around and riding video is provided above.
