This 1974 Suzuki GT250 was purchased by the seller one year ago from the original owner. Powered by a 247cc air-cooled two-stroke twin with a 6-speed transmission, features include oil injection, dual Mikuni carburetors, and a Ram Air cylinder head. The battery, spark plugs, and transmission oil were recently replaced, and only 4K miles are indicated of which the seller has added approximately 200. This GT250 is offered at no reserve with a clean California title in the seller’s name. Developed as the replacement for the X6 Hustler, the GT250 weighed only 322lbs dry and had a claimed top speed of 91MPH. This example remains largely stock and is finished in Candy Gold with chrome fenders. The paint is reported to be the original finish, but the seller notes that the fuel tank and one of the side covers have touched up scratches. Instrumentation includes a 150mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 8K redline. 4193 miles are shown on the 5-digit odometer and is believed to be accurate. The front end features a single disc brake. 18″ chrome wire-spoke wheels wear Duro tires. The 247cc two-stroke twin produced 31 horsepower in stock form and features oil injection and dual 26mm Mikuni carburetors. The kick start is mounted on the left side, and the unique Ram Air cylinder head has rubber inserts between the fins to reduce noise. A 6-speed transmission transfers power to the rear wheel via chain drive. The battery and spark plugs were recently replaced and the transmission oil changed. The work was performed by the seller and no service records are available.
