This 1962 Puch SR 150 scooter was acquired by the selling dealer five years ago from the estate of its previous owner following a refurbishment with new paint and upholstery. The bike is powered by a 147cc 2-stroke single with a foot-shifted 3-speed transmission, and service within the last 60 days reportedly included a tune-up as well as replacement of the battery and fuel. This Puch is offered with a Florida bill of sale.
The scooter was repainted and reupholstered in red and creme prior to its acquisition by the selling dealer. Features include an accessory tail rack, period turn signals, aftermarket hand grips, and an air pump mounted inside the leg shield. The two-piece 12″ wheels wear older tires.
The headlight nacelle contains the ignition switch, warning lights, a 90-mph speedometer, and a 5-digit odometer indicating approximately 2,800 miles. Handlebar controls operate the high/low beams, turn signals, and horn.
The 147cc two-stroke single produced six horsepower when new and is located under the seat, with an access door provided for basic maintenance. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a foot-shifted 3-speed transmission with an oil bath chain drive. A tune-up which included replacement of the spark plug, fuel, and battery was performed by the selling dealer in the past two months.
