This 1992 Harley-Davidson FXRS Low Rider was purchased new by the current owner at Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson in Littleton, Colorado, and ridden for only 90 miles. Power comes from a 81ci (1,337cc) V-twin mated to a 5-speed transmission. The bike has been in storage since the 1990s and was reportedly last started 15 years ago. Recent work has included flushing the fuel tank, replacing the fuel lines, rebuilding the carburetor, and changing the oil and filter. This FXRS is now offered at no reserve by a representative of the owner with a touring windscreen, bag liners, and a clean Colorado title.
The bike is finished in red with gold tank decals and has reportedly been in storage for the last 25 years. Features include saddle bags, a passenger back rest, and crash bars with highway pegs. Cast alloy wheels wear older Dunlop tires.
The instrument cluster contains a 120-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer. 90 miles can be seen on the 5-digit odometer.
The 81ci (1,337cc) V-twin was factory-rated at 49 horsepower and is coupled to a 5-speed transmission with belt drive. Five months ago the seller had Rocky Mountain Harley-Davidson flush the fuel tank, replace the fuel lines, rebuild the carburetor, and repair oil leaks. The oil and filter were changed, and a compression test is said to have shown 115psi on each cylinder.
The saddlebags contain optional water-proof liners and the removed touring windscreen will be included.
