This 1984 Moto Guzzi 850 Lemans III is powered by an 844cc V-twin with a 5-speed transmission and shaft drive. The bike was purchased approximately 10 years ago by the current owner, who has added 2k of the just under 8k miles shown. Work under current ownership has included a re-paint with new decals applied, and modifications include an electronic ignition, Tomaselli clip-ons, Lafranconi exhaust, and auxiliary lighting. This Lemans is now offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the owner with the factory tool kit, owner’s manual, and a clean New York title.
The bike is finished in red with black accents, and the current owner commissioned a re-paint 5 years ago with the decals replaced and the valve covers powder coated. An aftermarket seat, Tommaselli clip-ons, and a LaFranconi exhaust were fitted, and the suspension features air assisted forks with YSS Shocks.
Fork mounted Denali LED lights are powered by an upgraded EnDuraLast 450 Watt charging system. An aftermarket fork brace is fitted and the dual 300mm discs feature rebuilt 2 piston calipers with stainless steel brake lines. The cast alloy wheels wear Avon Roadrider tires.
The instrument cluster contains a 140-mph speedometer, volt meter, and a centrally mounted 9k-rpm tachometer. The clip-on handlebars are equipped with bar-end mirrors, and approximately 7,800 miles are shown on the odometer.
Power comes from an 844cc V-twin with a 5-speed transmission and shaft drive. The engine was factory rated at 76 horsepower and features dual 36mm Dell’Orto carburetors and Moto Guzzi’s patented “Nigusil” cylinder lining. An EnDuraLast electronic ignition is fitted, and an oil change was performed earlier this year. A short video of the bike running is provided below.
