This 1969 Triumph Bonneville T120 was refurbished by the previous owner in Colorado just prior to the seller’s purchase two years ago. The 650cc parallel twin and 4-speed transmission were overhauled by Vintage Twins of Arvada, who also fitted new Amal Concentric carburetors, Boyer electronic ignition, .020″ over pistons, and more detailed in the listing, with additional contributions by The Bonneville Shop in Lousville, Colorado. This Bonneville is offered with records of the refurbishment and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.
The bike has been repainted in orange and silver over a black frame, with black side covers carrying the Bonneville name. The bike retains a factory-style exhaust system with peashooter silencers, as well as factory head and tail lamp assemblies.
Vintage twins rebuilt the front shock assemblies and fitted new seals. Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires were also mounted on the 19″ front and 18″ rear spoked wheels. Braking is handled by a twin leading shoe drum at the front and a single expanding drum at the rear.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer, with a charging gauge mounted in the headlamp housing. The 5-digit odometer shows 97 miles, though the seller reports that he has added about 120 miles during his ownership.
The 650cc parallel twin was overhauled by Vintage Twins of Arvada, including new .020″ over pistons, stock-sized rod bearings, valves and guides, a copper head gasket, and more detailed on a pair of attached documents. The seller reports that new engine side covers were fitted, and the bike is equipped with Boyer electronic ignition and replacement Amal concentric carburetors. The 4-speed transmission and clutch were also serviced by Vintage Twins.
