This 1973 Norton 750 Commando was acquired by the seller in 1974 and refurbished in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Power is provided by a 745cc parallel twin which was rebuilt fewer than 500 miles ago and is paired with a four-speed transmission. The bike was refinished with a black powder-coated frame, metallic red paint, and chrome fenders. Features include dual Amal carburetors, a positive-ground electrical system, a front disc brake, and more. This Commando is offered in Texas with service records from the seller’s ownership and a Wisconsin title.

The fiberglass fuel tank and side panels were finished in metallic red with silver and gold lettering and pinstriping, and the frame was powder-coated in black and modified to accommodate the chrome fenders according to the seller.

Chrome rims feature stainless steel spokes, and the wheels are mounted with Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires. The bike is equipped with a Norton-Lockheed front disc brake and a rear drum, which are said to have been refreshed during the 2000s work. The black vinyl tandem seat features diamond stitching.

Factory Smiths instrumentation includes a 150-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer that were rebuilt in 2004. The odometer reading is said to have been retained and shows approximately 28k miles, 11k of which have been added by the seller since 1974.

The 745cc parallel twin was factory-rated at 58 horsepower and is said to have been rebuilt in the early 2000s by Britech New England. The engine features Amal carburetors, a primary drive belt, and a positive-ground electrical system with a three-phase alternator. Uninstalled stainless exhaust pipes and “pea shooter” mufflers are included with the sale.
