This 2007 Ducati 1098 is a modified example equipped with carbon fiber bodywork, a Termignoni exhaust system, and carbon fiber BST wheels. The bike has resided in Washington and Oregon, and is powered by a 1,099cc 90-degree twin with four valves per cylinder and desmodromic drive coupled to a six-speed transmission. Other modifications include a re-valved Öhlins front fork, TTX36 rear coilover assembly with hydraulic preload adjuster, Bazzaz quickshift system, carbon fiber trim, and more as detailed in the listing. This Ducati is offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the current owner with records, factory literature, keys, key card, and a clean Washington title.

The bike is finished in Ducati Red and was fitted with a set of carbon fiber body panels, a Clear Alternatives integrated taillight assembly, and a World Sport Performance seat in late 2007. Other carbon fiber components include the front fender, air vent inserts, mudguard, chainguard, keyguard cover, and belly pan.

Suspension modifications include revalved Öhlins front forks and a TTX36 rear coilover assembly with hydraulically adjustable preload, both fitted in mid-2008. The BST carbon fiber wheels measure 17″ in diameter, and are fitted with Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires measuring 120/70 at the front and 190/55 at the rear. Stopping is handled by twin front and a single rear disc, all with Brembo calipers.

Black anodized billet reservoirs and master cylinders have been fitted for the front brake and clutch hydraulics, as well as a heim-jointed Öhlins steering dampener, and black control levers. 6,300 miles are shown on the digital odometer, approximately 500 of which were added by the current owner.

The 1,099cc 90-degree twin features four valves per cylinder with desmodromic drive and was factory-rated at 160 horsepower and 90.4 lb-ft of torque. This example has been fitted with a Termignoni exhaust system and carbon fiber intake ducting, and a 2013 invoice shows that the bike was re-tuned for the present fuel pump, PCV, and exhaust system. The six-speed sequential transmission is equipped with a slipper clutch and a Bazzaz quick shifter, and the ECU and mapping were tuned accordingly for the new components. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a drive chain and a quick-change rear sprocket.
