This 1999 Ducati 748S is equipped with an 853cc big-bore kit from Moto Corse Performance and shows just 2k miles. Finished in yellow and equipped with a monoposto tail section, the bike was acquired by the seller five years ago and also features a Termignoni titanium exhaust system and a number of carbon fiber components from Ducati Performance, including an airbox, fenders, and heel guard. Service performed within the past six months included a valve adjustment and timing belt replacement, as well as fresh fluids and a general mechanical inspection. This 748S is now offered with a clear Alabama title in the seller’s name.
A non-slip Tecnosel neoprene seat pad has been added, and a tinted windscreen from Fast by Ferracci replaces the original unit. The carbon fiber fuel cap, exhaust guard, and fenders are from Ducati Performance.
The forks and rear mono shock are Showa components, and the Brembo brake system is plumbed with braided stainless hoses. Five-spoke Marchesini wheels wear a set of Pirelli Rosso Corsa tires with a reported 100 miles of use.
The clip-on handlebars are also from Fast by Ferracci, and factory instrumentation includes a 180-mph speedometer and a 13k-rpm tachometer. Under 2k miles are shown on the odometer, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller during his five years of ownership.
The desmodromic L-twin engine has been enlarged to 853cc with a Moto Corse Performance big-bore kit. It is also equipped with a 50mm titanium exhaust system from Termignoni and a Ducati Performance carbon airbox with matching runners. Power is routed through a dry clutch and a six-speed manual gearbox. The factory slave cylinder has been replaced with a billet aluminum item from EVR.
A valve adjustment and timing belt replacement have been performed within the past six months. Motul oil has been used during the seller’s ownership, and the engine oil, coolant, and brake fluid were flushed during the most recent service.
