This 1981 Yamaha XS650-H is a late-production “Special” that was acquired from the reported first owner one month ago. Power is provided by a 654cc SOHC parallel twin paired with a 5-speed transmission, and recent work includes new spark plugs, a brake fluid flush, and an oil and filter change. Just over 10k miles are currently shown, of which the selling dealer has added a handful. This XS650 is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with the factory toolkit, owner’s manual, and a clean Wisconsin title.

Finished in black with gold logos, the bike features cruiser handlebars, a 3-gallon fuel tank, and a stepped dual seat. Corrosion can be seen on the exhaust headers, and oxidation is noted on the lower fork tubes. Seven-spoke mag wheels wear older Dunlop D404 tires.

The instrument cluster contains an 85-mph speedometer and a 10k-rpm tachometer separated by various warning lights. Just over 10k miles are shown on the odometer.

The SOHC 654cc parallel twin was factory rated at 53 horsepower and is fitted with dual 34mm Mikuni carburetors. Power is delivered to the rear wheel through a 5-speed transmission with chain drive. The alloy engine case is noted to show oxidation, and prior to the auction the spark plugs were replaced, brake fluid flushed, and the oil and filter changed.
