This 1995 Ducati 900 Supersport SP is powered by a 904cc V-twin with desmodromic valve drive, and is equipped with a 6-speed transmission and chain drive to the rear wheel. The bike was reportedly purchased new by a Ducati mechanic who added approximately 5k miles before it went to its second owner, from whom the seller acquired it from three years ago. Now showing 6,900 miles, the bike is equipped with a carbon fiber rear mudguard, tank guard, and cam belt cover, an aluminum clutch, and a body-colored windscreen. Under current ownership the bike has received new timing belts, fuel tank rubber lines, a valve adjustment, carburetor cleaning and balancing, an oil and filter change, and more. This Ducati is offered with an owner’s manual, two keys, records from current ownership, and a clean Colorado title.
The bike is finished in red over a bronze trellis frame and features both a body-colored front windscreen and a dark tinted windscreen. The seller notes a polished-out blemish in the clearcoat on the left side of the tank, a repaired crack in the body-colored windscreen, and other nicks in the finish are shown in close-up images in the gallery below. The bike is fitted with LED head and taillights, and includes a cover, rear stand, and removed factory components.
Modifications include a Termignoni exhaust system, an aluminum clutch, aluminum rear sprocket, case saver, and a carbon fiber tank protector, front sprocket guard, and front and rear mudguards. Wheels measure 17″ in diameter both front and rear and are fitted with Pirelli Angel GT sport touring tires.
The clip-on handlebars are fitted with a set of bar-end mirrors, and the upper triple clamp carries a brass Ducati Supersport SP placard denoting this example as #257 built for the model year. The seller notes a small crack in the speedometer drive housing. Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer and an 11k-rpm tachometer. Approximately 6,900 miles are shown on the 5-digit mechanical odometer, 350 of which were added by the current owner.
Power is provided by a 904cc V-twin with desmodromic valve drive. Factory-rated output was 84 horsepower with 62 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed transmission with chain primary drive. A set of heat-shielded oil cooler lines and carbon fiber timing covers are fitted. The 6,000-mile service was performed under current ownership and included a new oil pickup screen, fuel filter, air filter, lithium battery, timing belts, fuel tank rubber lines, carb cleaning and balancing, a valve clearance adjustment, and an oil and filter change.
The seller notes an elongated hole in the carbon fiber timing cover for correct fitment, and the seller has also installed new spark plugs, a new fuel filler o-ring, cleaned and inspected the oil pickup screen, and replaced the oil filter. Approximately 140PSI is shown on both cylinders in an attached compression test.
An owner’s manual, two keys, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name are included, and included components are shown in the gallery below.
